Belt filter presses for sludge dewatering
Saltec® CP is designed for the dewatering of biological slurry. The machine’s durable construction, combined with the curvature of the low-pressure zone makes this a very effective machine for its size. The drainage zone is fitted with self-clearing ploughs which turn the slurry and open new drainage channels before the pressing phases. The pressing force is generated by pneumatic cylinders, and the machine operates at low energy consumption, resulting in cost-effective operation.
Saltec® HP is designed for mineral-based slurry, requiring more mechanical force. Thanks to its optimised roller arrangement, this press achieves higher solid content. Reduced operating costs (chemicals, energy, water) and high-efficiency motors ensure the lowest possible energy consumption.
The Saltec® RF product family includes pre-dewatering drums for treating slurry before processing it in the belt filter press. The rotating spiral wrap effectively removes water from the slurry, and the drum’s capacity can be controlled easily. The pre-dewatering drums are available in various sizes, and they can be installed in pairs.
